The Dóchas Resilience Foundation’s practicum program helps us improve access to mental health support while providing meaningful learning opportunities for emerging professionals.
During your internship, you will work directly with clients, engage with community partners, and contribute to programs that support individuals and communities. Interns may have opportunities to work in different community settings while receiving ongoing support, training, and clinical supervision from registered mental health professionals.
At the Dóchas Resilience Foundation, our goal is to provide accessible, ethical, and high-quality mental health services.
All practicum internship positions with the Dóchas Resilience Foundation are unpaid.
If you are passionate about mental health and supporting your community, there are many ways to get involved with the Dóchas Resilience Foundation.
We welcome opportunities to connect with individuals and organizations who may be able to support our work through volunteering, professional services, community partnerships, space, in-kind support, or other forms of collaboration.
If you are interested in getting involved, contact us to start a conversation about how you may be able to support the foundation and the communities we serve.
Depending on the nature of your involvement with the Foundation, volunteers and other individuals working with our programs may be required to complete a background check or other screening before beginning their role.
Your support helps make accessible mental health services possible. Contributions to the Dóchas Resilience Foundation help support our programs and our operation costs.
Every contribution helps us to continue to reduce barriers to mental health support in Parkland County and the Edmonton Area.
The Dóchas Resilience Foundation is currently a not-for-profit organization and is not able to issue official charitable donation receipts at this time.
